Glass - Sun Pillar - サンピラー
Glass - Sun Pillar - サンピラー
This is a collaboration piece with glass artist Noboru Gunji, located in Abashiri City, Hokkaido, at the "Drift Ice Glass Museum." When you pour beer into it, bubbles rise from the center of the bottom of the glass, creating a silhouette reminiscent of a Sun Pillar that appears during the harsh winter season in Hokkaido, where both nature and people have thrived.
When beer is poured, foam similar to a Sun Pillar rises continuously for a few minutes. Please note that the frothing may be weaker depending on the type of beer.
